Church Planters

The Maryland Independent Baptist Fellowship is passionate about planting new churches throughout Maryland and the surrounding region. There are still towns, neighborhoods, and communities within a short drive of every one of our pulpits that lack a sound, Bible-believing Independent Baptist witness — and that burden drives the work of church planting among us.

The men listed below are not entrepreneurs launching religious ventures. They are called and qualified pastors, sent out from local churches, laboring to gather and establish New Testament congregations in places where the gospel needs a permanent home. The MIBF cooperates in this work by providing financial support to these church planters so they can give their full attention to preaching the Word, shepherding new converts, and building the church God has called them to plant.

We invite you to learn about these men, pray for their families and their fields, and consider how the Lord might use you and your church to stand with them.

John and Jane Doe

John was sent out from [Sending Church] in 2023 to plant Grace Independent Baptist Church in Frederick. He and Jane have been married for twelve years and have three children: Caleb, Hannah, and Micah. The Does are burdened to reach the families of Frederick with the gospel and to establish a faithful New Testament church.
